Merry Christmas
I would just to like to wish everyone in Merton a Merry Christmas, it is also the season of goodwill along with thinking of others and on Christmas Day I will be visiting St Helier Hospital in the morning, followed by a lunch in Mitcham parish church centre.
I am the Mayor of Merton for the 2025-26 municpal year. This is my second time as mayor and previously served as Merton's youngest in 2008-9 and the first born after the borough was created in 1965. I have served as a Merton councillor since 2002 and have undertaken several roles in the council including being a cabinet member in several portfolios from 2010-22 and served more recent as chair of licensing and chair of the governance, audit and standards committee.
